Getting Squeezed Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message on “Getting Squeezed,” remembering real love is not forceful, we can trust the flow, and we can create spacious love and true caring.
Getting Squeezed – Today’s message is “Getting Squeezed.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our April talks on Caring. She speaks of remembering real love is not forceful, trusting, and creating spacious love and true caring without squeezing or being squeezed. She reminds us that self-care is important and we do not have to qualify for love. She also provides a number of spiritual practices for avoiding Getting Squeezed both in our interactions with others and with ourselves.
Katherine Economou stated: “Love is not something we need to qualify for. It is not given based on performance but on presence.”
And Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, taught: “Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?”
